D. Américo Aguiar was elected president of the General Assembly for the first time in the history of the Brotherhood of Clérigos. During his presidency, in 2014, he led the major restoration and recovery project of the Clérigos Church and Tower, which allowed the greatest symbol of Nicolau Nasoni’s construction to be returned to the people of Porto and the world.
